There will be a number of events in an improved social calendar in 2009, following the formation of a club social committee led by Geoff Maltby.  This committee will strive to bring various sections of the club closer together, and events will include BBQ's, golf days, dinners and the presentation night. So keep your eyes peeled on this page for the latest events!

Greyhound night - September 19th

A recent addition to the social calendar, but has always guranteed a good night out.  Tickets are available this week and next week off your captain, priced at £5 which guarantees your entry to the stadium and when buying a racecard then gets you a free drink. 

Always a good night and you will also be able to watch the Sheffield derby on the many screens round the stadium, so there's no excuse not to come along !!

 

Presentation night - October 17th 

The presentation night will be held at the 1889 Suite at Bramall Lane.  A great night was had last year, and the format this year will be similar, except that this year, it will be a full club presentation night for juniors and seniors alike.  The format of the evening will be as follows:

6pm - Junior presentation night

7.30-8.30pm - Pie'n'peas buffet

8.30pm - late - Senior presentation night

The whole night will include quizzes, raffle and an auction of a variety of sporting and other items.

Prices:
Junior night: Adults £8, juniors £6 with food; Adults £2; juniors £1 (without food)
Senior night: £10

We have again secured the excellent Malcolm Lord as compere for the night, who is excellent value and enures

Tickets are available from captains and team managers and are priced according to which sections of the night you wish to attend and whether you wish to eat.  Vegetarians will be catered for, let your captain or manager know shoudl you wish to order vegetarian food.  The 1889 Suite is accessed from parking in the main car park on Cherry Street
